The Prepared Parent Series - Upper Elementary Language
This will be a 3-part parent education series, 45-minutes each session, each focusing on a different area of the Montessori Upper Elementary curriculum: Language, Math, and Cultural Studies. Parents can expect brief summaries of works with opportunities to receive lessons in each area - experience Montessori the way your child does, as the parent becomes the student! In Language, I'll show how we continue the fundamentals of Lower Elementary as students shift from "learning to read" towards "reading to learn." We'll explore literacy and novel study, parts of speech and sentence diagramming, word study and vocabulary building, and writing.

Parents can expect brief summaries of works with opportunities to receive lessons in each area - experience Montessori the way your child does, as the parent becomes the student!
