Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is comprised of nine elected members each serving for a 3-year term, on a staggered basis. The board’s primary responsibilities are to manage and control the property, business and affairs of the school. Members are dedicated to ensuring that Cathedral Montessori remains true to its mission and generously serve the school without renumeration.

Marques J. Celestine, II
Marques J Celestine, II’s career includes management, analysis, business development and consulting roles across the globe with companies including Merck, Wells Fargo and Cargill. Through the Japanese Cabinet Office, he served as a delegate for cultural and economic exchange. He currently leads Jackson Noble, an Executive Search and Professional Consulting organization. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with degrees in Finance and Japanese and spent a year of immersive study at Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan. He has been a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters for over 15 years, was elected as the youngest member on the Cargill Cares Volunteer Council, served as a mentor to college students through the Alan Page Education Foundation and sent numerous inner-city youth on educational trips across the world through the Why Can’t I Go Foundation. He also served on the Board of Directors for San Miguel Middle School in Minneapolis, MN.

Philip D. Lorio IV
Philip D. Lorio IV, or “Phil” as he prefers, is a litigation attorney specializing in personal injury and hurricane-related cases, representing individuals against insurance companies and other large corporations. As a partner at the Chopin Law Firm, Phil leverages extensive experience gained from his previous positions at two prominent insurance defense firms in the New Orleans area. Phil is a proud graduate of Loyola New Orleans College of Law, and he maintains strong ties with the institution as a member of the Law Alumni Board and an executive board member of the St. Thomas More Loyola Inn of Court. Before going to law school, Phil attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee where he obtained his undergraduate degree.
Today, Phil is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association, Louisiana Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, Academy of New Orleans Trial Lawyers, and he currently serves on the Louisiana Bar Association’s House of Delegates. Phil is licensed in all Louisiana Federal and State Courts, and he is also licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
Beyond the courtroom, Phil contributes to the legal community through teaching continuing legal education programs. Notably, Phil presented seminars for the New Orleans Bar Association on first-party hurricane claims, sharing expertise with fellow legal professionals, focusing on the extensive litigation arising in the wake of Hurricanes Laura, Delta and Ida. Additionally, Phil has presented a program focused on ethics, inspired by the legacy of his mother, Kathryn Venturatos Lorio – past dean and professor of Loyola Law School - as a model of legal professionalism and ethics on the Greek Island of Spetses.
Phil is a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, where he was baptized as an infant and raised into adulthood. As a teenager, he was proud to serve as the President of the Greek Orthodox Youth of America for the New Orleans Chapter, and he was a Hellenic dancer for the Greek Festival.

Dr. Cornelia Koniditsiotis
Cornelia has loved her career as a speech-language pathologist, specializing in helping preschool and early elementary-aged children. She has taught in universities, been a consultant to our local hospitals, written articles, as well as worked in public and private schools, while also being in private practice. Cornelia is originally from Memphis, TN, has been married to her husband John (from Sparta, Greece) since 1970, and has lived in Metairie ever since. They have two terrific sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and three fantastic grandchildren. Cornelia received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Alabama, and her Ph.D. from the University of New Orleans. Her involvement in the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral has included serving on the Board of Trustees as treasurer, Sunday School Director, as well as president of Holy Trinity PTA, Philoptochos, and Daughters of Penelope. Cornelia enjoys participating in the Greek Festival, Cathedral organizations’ pastry workshops and sales, as well as baking Greek pastries at home. You can even find her on YouTube! She adores children.

Susan “Suzie” Keenan
Susan “Suzie” Keenan is a Strategic Account Manager for BrandSafway, LLC, where she drives revenue growth and operational excellence by developing innovative hybrid sales and operations strategies. Her leadership has helped secure partnerships across diverse industries, including energy, petrochemical, in the industrial construction sector where her expertise in soft craft services has delivered exceptional value to clients.
Suzie earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a pre-law concentration and a minor in Arabic Language and Business from Michigan State University and an MBA in Finance with an emphasis on Global Management Strategy from Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business. A passionate advocate for professional development and community engagement, Suzie chairs the Professional Development & Education Committee of her local chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). Suzie is multilingual, speaking English, Arabic, French, and Spanish, and is studying Greek. She has also been deeply involved in cultural organizations, embracing her Palestinian and Assyrian heritage alongside her Jordanian influences.
She and her husband, Jasper, live in New Orleans, where she enjoys baking, teaching Sunday School, being an advisor for GOYA and treasurer for the Daughters of Penelope Nestor Chapter #55 of New Orleans, as well as contributing to events and programs at her Church, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral.

Barbara Stavis Wolf
Barbara Stavis Wolf is a Louisiana insurance defense litigation attorney and a member of the American, Federal, Louisiana and 22nd Judicial District Bar Associations, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and has served on the Louisiana Bar Association House of Delegates. Barbara is a life-long member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in New Orleans, having served as President of the Community in 2016 and 2017 and served on the Board of Trustees in 2006-07, 2015-2018 and has been re-elected to serve on the Board in 2020, having previously also served as Secretary and Treasurer on the Board. She served as Co-Chairman of the historic 150th Anniversary Celebration of Holy Trinity in 2014. She has been the International President in 2009 of the Daughters of Penelope, affiliate of the Order of AHEPA, served on the Daughters of Penelope National Board 2003-2008, served as Daughters of Penelope District Governor for two terms and local Chapter President 6 different times. She is a current member of the Board of the Philoptochos Elpis Chapter, and has previously served in the Church Choir and as a Youth Advisor. Barbara is a graduate of Newcomb College of Tulane University and Loyola Law School in New Orleans. -
Brandon Skaff
Brandon Skaff was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. He attended Denison University and earned a BA in architecture and economics and a Master of Architecture from Tulane School of Architecture in New Orleans. After graduating from Tulane in 2002, he joined the workforce in Architecture and Construction Management in several cities including Nashville, Charlotte, Las Vegas, Tampa and ultimately back to New Orleans again in 2010. Since returning to New Orleans in 2010 he has been heavily involved in the design and construction industries in planning for new custom homes, pre-K schools, university buildings, medical facilities or high-end hotels. Brandon is a proud member and son of founding members of the St. Andrew Orthodox church in Lexington and had the privilege of helping a mission organization successfully grow as an Eastern Orthodox Church community. In 2011 Brandon married his wife Amy, a New Orleans native and member of the Roman Catholic church. He has two daughters who share a balanced membership between the Orthodox and Catholic churches. For the past 13 years Brandon has been a member of the Holy Trinity Cathedral and shares his gifts with the church and its community.

Kris Diane McGee
Kris Diane McGee grew up in New Orleans as an active member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. She graduated from the University of Virginia and Tulane University School of Law. Kris Diane practiced law in Washington, D.C. for the law firm Vinson & Elkins. She moved to Houston after marrying her husband, Richard, and worked as in house counsel for a computer consulting company. After retiring from law, Kris Diane has been very involved at Annunciation Orthodox School (“AOS”), an independent school that is affiliated with Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral (“AGOC”) in Houston. She has served in a variety of roles for AOS, including 11 years as a member of the Board of Trustees (serving as Board Chair from 2018-2022), co-chair of the most recent capital campaign, chair of the building committee for the construction of a new lower school and chair of the Search Committee for a new Head of School in 2017. Kris Diane has also been involved on the boards of the Houston Ballet and the AGOC Ladies Philoptochos Society, and has taught Sunday School and Greek Festival dancing at AGOC for many years. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, learning and spending time with her four children and extended family

Rafe Rabalais
Rafe Rabalais directs the SFMTA’s Transit Oriented Development initiatives. He has over 15 years of public, private, and non-profit experience in real estate development, affordable housing, and urban planning.
Mr. Rabalais has a Master in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. His son has been a CMS student for 2 years. -
Andrew Hansel
Andrew Hansel is the Director of Investments for FreeGulliver, a New Orleans based firm which helps families and individuals manage, protect and grow their wealth now and into the future. Andrew is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and has worked in investing and portfolio management for over twenty years. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University in Connecticut where he studied Government while serving as president of his fraternity and captain of the rugby team. Andrew has two wonderful children with his wife, Tonya. His daughter attends an academy for fine arts and his son, a CMS alumnus, has recently returned to montessori education.
Andrew is an avid traveler; lover of art and a firm believer that quality education is among the most important investments we can make.
