Panayiota Vatakis
Primary Aftercare Teacher
Born and raised in the beautiful Aegean island of Chios, Greece, Panayiota during her youth moved to Louisiana with her family. Panayiota is fluent in the Greek language. Panayiota is a recent high school graduate from the IB program at Riverdale High School. Panayiota is an active member and volunteer of the Holy Trinity Cathedral Community. Panayiota is a Hellenic dancer, and a GOYA member/volunteer. Panayiota has been a Magnolia Community Service volunteer helping adults with Developmental Disabilities in events/ activities, worked at Crescent City Montessori Summer Camp as a Junior Counselor, and for CMS Summer on the Bayou Camp Assistant and Aftercare Teacher. Panayiota will be attending LSU New Orleans this Fall..
Panayiota is excited and looking forward to a successful year working in the aftercare program with students from Mr. Dominick and Ms. Kalli’s Oak classroom.
