Dominick Lizardo
Primary Teacher
Dominick Lizardo was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana and has worked in the private school sector for 14 years, serving children and families in both classroom and front office roles. His experience includes aftercare, summer and holiday programs, directing camps, running the school front office, and working with students from infancy through high school.
Dominick holds a degree in Early Childhood Care and Development (Birth–Kindergarten) and is a certified AMS-recognized Montessori Primary Lead Teacher. He brings 7 years of Montessori classroom experience and a deep respect for the Montessori Method. He currently serves as the Lead Teacher in the Oak Primary classroom at Cathedral, following his time as a classroom teacher at Crescent City Montessori School.
Outside of school, Dominick enjoys traveling—especially to the beach—going for walks, iced coffee, great desserts, and spending time with family and friends.
