Lower Elementary Assistant
Celeste grew up in Huntsville, Alabama, and was very independent, following the beat of her drum. Art was something she enjoyed from an early age. Celeste focused on photography and graphic design in High School. She recently graduated with her BFA in printmaking from SCAD. She has taught previously in Montessori schools for 2 years and has experience with toddlers and primary children. Celeste settled recently in New Orleans, joined CMS, and is thrilled to be teaching and learning with the Lower Elementary students. She enjoys working with fibers, including sewing, cross stitching, and embroidery. Celeste likes to bring her art skills to the classroom whenever there is an opportunity to foster a fun, creative, and supportive community. In her time outside of the classroom, she loves to spend time with her cats, Billie and Joanie, family, and friends.
